Delete your Starlight account
You can delete your account and its data at any time, either in the app or here. There is nothing to cancel first. Starlight has no paid subscription to manage.
In the app
- Open the Me tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Enter your password and confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (handle, name, bio, avatar) and your login.
- Every take you posted, with its audio, and the likes and comments on them.
- Your comments and likes on other people’s takes.
- Who you follow, who follows you, and your blocks, mutes and follow requests.
- Saved lyric sheets, push notification tokens, and any creator packs and ratings.
- Duets you sang stay with their original singers’ takes only if the original owner keeps them; yours are deleted with your account.
What we keep
- Duets other people made with your take stay up, credited to “a singer” with no name or link back to you.
- Creator points history, without your name or email, so totals and fraud checks stay accurate.
- Records of copyright notices and strikes, as needed for legal compliance.
- Encrypted backups, which are overwritten on a rolling schedule (see the privacy policy).
Recordings saved only on your phone aren’t on our servers. Delete them in your phone’s storage or by removing the app.

Email [email protected] from the address on the account and we’ll verify it’s you and delete the account for you.
